This page briefly details how much a company may receive through California's Employment Training Panel.
Reference the information below on how we calculate total funding amounts. These amounts are determined by the state of California's Employment Training Program.
- Companies with less than 100 employees are reimbursed at $22.00 per hour of training per employee.
- Companies designated as priority industries are compensated at $26.00 per hour of training per employee.
EXAMPLE: A company with 75 employees that commits to 80 hours of training per employee over 21 months.
75 (employees) X 80 (hours) = 6,000 X $22.00 (per hour reimbursement rate)
Total funding amount: $132,000
A "priority industry" company with the same scenario would receive a total of $156,000.

250 (employees) X 80 (hours) = 20,000 X $15.00 (per hour reimbursement rate)
Total funding amount = $300,000
A "priority industry" company with the same scenario would receive a total of $360,000.
